GM of flybuys, Loyalty and CRM
Roger Sniezek is the General Manager of Loyalty, Customer Relationship Management (CRM), and flybuys at Coles, leading a team of around 100 people. Roger is responsible for the management and development of the flybuys programme including the coalition partners, analytics, operations, and rewards. Additionally, Roger is responsible for targeted marketing and the use of the analytics across the Coles Group. Coles serves 19 million customers each week, with well over half of Australian households being active flybuys members. Joining Coles in October 2011, Roger led the relaunch of the flybuys programme in April 2012, which comprised mailing the whole of Australia with flybuys cards, rebranding the programme, upgrading the offer to members, introducing a range of new partners, and a massive three-month multi-channel launch campaign. Prior to Coles, in 2002 Roger managed the launch of Nectar (the UK’s largest loyalty programme) which was acquired by Aeroplan in 2007. At Nectar/Aeroplan, Roger spent 10 years leading digital, CRM, operations, and innovation across Nectar and a variety of other international programmes. Previously, in 1998 Roger launched and subsequently managed “Moments.com”, the global loyalty programme of Forte Hotels Group. He started his career at Diageo in business change/IT. Roger holds a Masters degree in Mathematics from the University of Cambridge.
